When I first taught The AI Reckoning, my argument was that AI was about to change how we work.
It has.
Now we’re entering the next phase, and it’s a different conversation entirely. Businesses don’t just need people who can use AI anymore. They need people who can help them use it properly: responsibly, defensibly, and in a way that actually holds up when someone asks a harder question than “which tool do you use?”
Adoption has increased. Regulation has moved. Clients have got more aware. Businesses are experimenting more than ever. But structure hasn’t caught up, not even close. Among businesses already using AI, only 17% report having any formal or informal policy or guidance in place, and only around 1 in 10 say they actually understand what the relevant regulatory guidance involves.
That distance, between how much AI a business is using and how competently it’s using it, is the AI Opportunity Gap. It’s the biggest one I’ve seen in this space, and this masterclass is about what it takes to be the person who closes it professionally, not just enthusiastically.
A professional isn’t someone who knows every answer. A professional has a method for reaching one.
Save My Seat →What we’ll cover, live
Where businesses actually are on the path from experimenting with AI to genuinely getting value from it (spoiler: most are stuck around step two of five), and who’s currently failing to help them move, IT, lawyers, marketing agencies, the software vendors themselves. There’s a missing layer in the market, and I’ll show you exactly what it looks like.
The uncomfortable stuff nobody wants to be the one to bring up: data, copyright, hallucinations, bias, disclosure, human oversight, client confidentiality, quality control. Responsible AI isn’t the boring bit you bolt on after the exciting AI stuff. It’s what makes a business confident enough to use the exciting AI stuff at all.
The real distinction between an AI user, an AI power user, an AI practitioner and an AI strategist, and exactly where the paid opportunity sits right now. A straight look at how existing service providers are already monetising responsible AI capability: enhanced offers, standalone AI services, training, audits, implementation support, advisory work.
What it actually takes to be trusted enough to own this, and why “I have a certificate” is a much weaker claim than “I have assessed evidence I’ve been trained to a defined professional standard.” I’ll show you the framework ecosystem behind that standard, enough that you’ll see this is a genuine methodology, not a badge.
Then, your professional method. I’ll show you what that looks like in practice, and what it would take for you to build one of your own.
What you’ll walk away with
Regardless of anything else, you’ll leave this masterclass with absolute clarity on where the AI Opportunity Gap actually sits in the market right now, what separates someone who’s “into AI” from someone a business will actually trust and pay to advise them on it, and where your own existing expertise could slot into that, whether or not you take anything further with me.
Towards the end, I’ll open the doors on my next Certified Practitioner cohort (£2,000, 70 places, starting 3 November), for anyone who wants a structured, credentialed, properly supported way to build this properly. There’s no pressure to buy anything, and no obligation either way. I’ll simply lay out what it is, what’s involved, and let you decide.
Anyone who’s done the free 3-day AI Opportunity Gap challenge and wants the next layer. Equally, anyone who hasn’t done the challenge but is already asking “where does AI actually fit into my business or my services?” This stands on its own, the challenge deepens it, but you don’t need to have done it to get real value here.
Common questions
Do I need to have done the 3-day challenge first?
No. This works whether or not you did the challenge. If you did, this builds directly on it. If you didn’t, you’ll still get a complete picture.
Is it really free?
Yes. All you need to do is register for the Zoom link. Towards the end I’ll talk about my next Practitioner cohort for anyone who wants to go further, but there’s no cost to attend and no obligation to buy anything.
What if I can’t make it live?
Try to be there live if you can, since I’ll be taking questions and the offer details are only walked through once. If you can’t, the replay will be available to anyone registered for 5 days afterwards.
How long does it run?
Around 90 minutes, including time for questions at the end.
What platform is it on?
Zoom. You’ll get the link by email as soon as you register, plus a reminder closer to the time.
